Your Best Veg BBQ Ever

By: Rachel

The Fourth of July is right around the corner. And as Americans, you have the unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of a good meal when everyone else is eating hamburgers and hot dogs (I mean, happiness. Yeah, that’s it!).

Just because you’re eating less meat these days doesn’t mean you have to settle for potato chips and coleslaw for dinner at your family’s Independence Day barbecue—or at any other cookout this summer, for that matter. Here at SmartGirlVeg HQ, we’ve combed the internet for some of the best vegetarian and vegan barbecue recipes out there.

Following a plant-based diet is, of course, not a prerequisite for enjoying these dishes. Check out some of these delicious BBQ entrees that just happen to be meat-free, and invite your non-veg family and friends to dig in, too!
